Convocation

Introduction:

Convocation is a significant and memorable event for a university since it celebrates the accomplishments of the founders, faculty, and students. It’s matter of exciting and immense pleasure that North Western University is going to organize its 1st Convocation. Convocation was the long-cherished dream of our graduates who are still contributing to every sector of our country and different parts of the world. From the inception of the university, the university is providing quality education with an expected academic standard in a range of subjects that are relevant to the current and anticipated social and economic needs of the nation and the globe at large. So, the university authority has taken initiative to organize Convocation to focus on and highlight their graduates in the current world.

Notice:

Students who have passed and completed all requirements for their respective degrees until fall semester 2023 and who have already collected Provisional Certificates as well as those who have not yet applied for a Provisional Certificate are advised to apply and register for Convocation. The deadline for registration will be announced later. Please note that no application will be entertained after this deadline.

Registration Procedures:

Eligible Graduates:Graduating Semesters until Fall 2023.

Registration Deadline: The deadline for registration will be announced later.

Registration Fees: One participant can register for either Bachelor's Program or Master's Program or Both Programs. Tk. 4000/- for a student for a single program and Tk. 6000/-for both programs. 

How to make Payment:

• Bank Payment:

Bank Name: Prime Bank PLC 

Account Name: North Western University 

Account Number: 2213133011008. 

Routing Number: 170470702. 

Branch Name: Daulatpur Branch, Khulna. 

In the case of Bank Payment, participants must write the word Convocation and Student ID on the deposit slip. The participants are to make sure that the bank official writes Student ID in the Bank Statement.

 

• bKash Payment:

Pay Tk. 4000 as registration fee to bKash Merchant Number 01970226611 using bKash app or dial USSD Code *247# and select the Payment option, then input number, then type the amount, then input Student ID as a reference, then input counter no. 1 and finally input your PIN.
N. B: If any student doesn't give the reference Student ID, he/she needs to confirm the amount over the phone. In the case of bKash, students must need to write Convocation & student id as reference.
 

• Nagad Payment:

Pay Tk. 4000 as registration fee to bKash Merchant Number 01970226611 using bKash app or dial USSD Code *247# and select the Payment option, then input number, then type the amount, then input Student ID as a reference, then input counter no. 1 and finally input your PIN.
N. B: If any student doesn't give the reference Student ID, he/she needs to confirm the amount over the phone. In the case of bKash, students must need to write Convocation & student id as reference.
 

Steps to complete the Registration:

Pay the registration fee as per the instructions provided.

After the completion of payment and on successful submission of the registration form, a unique ID Card with number will be generated automatically and it will be distributed by the authority before the convocation day.
